Caring for a parent at home is a lot of work. Respite care gives family caregivers short-term relief.
One of our caregivers steps in for a few hours or longer and follows your loved one’s care plan while you rest or take care of other things.
How Our Care Works
Care starts with a visit from our registered nurse. The nurse assesses your loved one’s needs and sets up a care plan with you and your responsible party.
Your loved one’s caregiver follows that plan at every visit. Our nurse reviews the plan with you as needed, and we adjust it when your loved one’s needs change.
Our care team keeps watch to make sure the care continues to meet your needs over time.
Help With Daily Activities
Our certified nursing assistants and home care aides help with activities of daily living, including:
- Bathing
- Assistance with oral hygiene
- Medication reminders
- Picking up medication and grocery shopping
- Meal preparation for nutritional needs
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Hands-on assistance with walking and transfers
- Going with your loved one to medical appointments
Care on Your Schedule
You decide how much help your loved one gets and when caregivers visit. Some families need an emergency 2-hour visit. Others need a caregiver around the clock. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
Care Wherever Your Loved One Lives
Home care can happen wherever your loved one lives. Our caregivers visit private homes, and they also visit clients who live in assisted living communities and nursing homes, so your loved one can get one-on-one support in the place they call home.

Help With Medicaid, Medicare, and SSI
If your loved one receives Medicaid, Medicare, or SSI, we can help you apply for home care services through Georgia’s CCSP or SOURCE programs.
CCSP is Georgia’s Community Care Services Program. SOURCE is a Georgia Medicaid program that pairs home and community services with primary care case management.
